Founded in November 2009, Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse (RAACA) began as a local grassroots movement in Erie County, Pennsylvania. As our founding chapter, Erie County laid the groundwork for our 501(c)(3) mission: combining a passion for riding with an unwavering commitment to protecting and advocating for vulnerable children. For over a decade, this foundation allowed us to build a reputation for action and a community of support that serves as a shield for those in need.
What started in Erie has grown into a powerful multi-state network. Following our first decade of service, we expanded into Venango County (2019) and Beaver County (2020), followed by a landmark year in 2025 with the launch of our first Kentucky chapter in Montgomery County and our latest expansion into Crawford County. Today, RAACA National continues to grow, united by the same core belief we started with in 2009: that no child should ever have to stand alone.

At RAACA, we stand as a dedicated shield for children, protecting them from the trauma of abuse and ensuring no survivor ever has to walk the path of recovery alone. Across our chapters in Erie, Venango, Beaver, and Crawford Counties (PA), and Montgomery County (KY), we are a constant, visible force for safety and advocacy.
Our commitment to our communities is personal and proactive, focusing on the safety and healing of the child at every stage. We empower families by providing financial assistance throughout the strain of the litigation process and work to restore joy by ensuring children have the essentials. Whether we are advocating in the courtroom, educating the public, or honoring the memory of those we have lost, our mission remains the same: to be a voice for the vulnerable and a community of protectors standing firmly in their corner.
