Erie County History:
Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse (RAACA) officially began its journey in November 2009 with the launch of the Erie County Chapter.
As the inaugural chapter of the organization, RAACA Erie set the standard for our 501(c)(3) mission: providing a relentless voice for children in Erie County Pennsylvania.
What we do!
Our primary mission is to stand as a shield for the children of Erie County, protecting them from the trauma of abuse and ensuring they never have to face their path alone. We believe that every child deserves a childhood free from fear, and we work tirelessly to be their voice when they need it most.
In Erie County, our commitment to protection is visible in everything we do. We provide a sanctuary for children by maintaining the Victims' Lounge in the Erie County Courthouse, offering them a safe space during the stress of legal proceedings. We stand with families by providing financial assistance throughout the litigation process and ensuring children feel supported.
